Sun, Seafood, and Summer Plates: What’s Cooking This Season

Summer’s here!!! I’m spending it on the water bouncing between Martha’s Vineyard and Marblehead—and I’ve got tons of fresh recipes, easy summer meals, and local restaurant reviews coming your way. Let’s talk about what’s to come!

Summer is finally here!!!

I’m so excited to be home for the summer, which means long days in the sun, boat rides, local seafood, and some of my absolute favorite meals of the year. There’s just something about summer food that hits different—fresh, simple, colorful, and full of flavor.

This season, I’m all about recipes that feel light but satisfying: fresh salads (corn, watermelon, cucumber—you name it), grilled veggies, bright herbs, and anything involving seafood. This past weekend, my parents and I finished planting our garden with tomatoes, squash, lettuce, and tons of herbs, so expect lots of garden-to-table content coming soon. There’s nothing better than cooking with ingredients you grew yourself.

Being by the water all summer also means buying fish and lobsters locally—it doesn’t get fresher than that. I can’t wait to share the ways I’ve been cooking them up. I truly think I could go pescetarian all summer... might have to start now.
